Before we start
I don't know exactly what I need. Is that a problem?
No, and it's the normal starting point. Most first conversations are a description of what's slow or annoying, not a specification. Working out what should be built is part of the job.
What does it cost to talk to you?
Nothing. Every engagement starts with a free 30-minute call, and if it is not a fit I say so.
What happens after I send the form?
I usually reply within two business days, and we book a call about what is slow or missing, and whether it is worth building at all. After that you get the scope and a fixed price in writing, and the build starts only once you have said yes.
Can my web service become an iPhone app?
Often, yes — if customers use it to book, sign in or follow a case, for example. I go through what already exists and what needs adapting for the iPhone. The app has to meet Apple's requirements, and approval in the App Store cannot be guaranteed.
What do you need from me to quote?
What the site or the tool should get someone to do, roughly which pages or flows are needed, text and images or a decision about who produces them, access to the domain and the business email, and who should be able to change the content afterwards. No technical specification required.
How long does something like this take?
A single automation or integration is usually one to two weeks. A web application, or a first version of your own software, is typically four to eight weeks. You get a fixed scope and a date before anything starts.
Price and what's included
What does a website cost?
Liovall Start is 12 900 SEK, Liovall Business 19 900 SEK and Liovall Complete Launch from 29 900 SEK. What each package contains is in the pricing section above, and what drives the price of a quote is covered in the journal.
What does an automation, an app or software of my own cost?
An automation sprint — one workflow, one integration or one AI automation, with documentation and handover — is from 45 000 SEK. A product build, with discovery, architecture, the build itself and App Store submission for iOS, is from 145 000 SEK. The exact price is set after the call, because the scope differs a great deal.
Is the price fixed?
The package prices are fixed and written down before anything is built. Where it says From, the price is a starting point: the scope decides, and you get a fixed price before the build begins.
What is not included in the price?
Running costs at other providers — domain, hosting, mailboxes and any subscriptions — you pay directly to them, in your own name. Larger product builds and iOS apps are priced separately and are not part of the launch packages.
What does it cost to keep running after launch?
If you run the site yourself, you pay only your own accounts at the domain, hosting and email providers. If you want me to handle content and maintenance, Liovall Growth is from 3 990 SEK a month and the ongoing partner from 32 000 SEK a month.
The build and afterwards
What if we want to change something midway?
A change to the scope means a new proposal and a new fixed price before it is built, agreed the same way the first one was.
Who owns the code and the data?
You do. Everything is delivered into your repository with documentation, and it runs on your accounts and infrastructure. I work under an NDA by default when data is involved.
What do I do if something breaks after launch?
Write to support@liovall.com and I will look at it. If you want maintenance, improvements and a known response time on an ongoing basis, Growth and the ongoing partner are the monthly packages.
What if the AI gets something wrong?
Sometimes it will, so the systems are designed around that. They score their own confidence, escalate uncertain cases to a person and log what they did. A model that guesses quietly is a liability.
