Privacy policy
Who is responsible
Daniel Aideborn, who runs Liovall, is the controller for the personal data described here. Send questions about privacy, and requests to use your rights, to hello@liovall.com.
What is processed, and why
When you contact Liovall through the contact form or by email, the details you send are processed: your name, your email address and your message, and, if you give them, your company, your project type and the offer you chose in the pricing section. The contact form opens a pre-filled email in your own email program; nothing reaches Liovall until you send it.
- To answer your enquiry and, if you ask for one, prepare an offer. When you ask about an assignment you would enter into yourself, the legal basis is steps taken at your request before a contract (GDPR article 6(1)(b)).
- When you write on behalf of a company, or about something other than an assignment, the legal basis is Liovall's legitimate interest in reading and answering messages sent to it (article 6(1)(f)). You write to get a reply, and only what you send is used, to reply to you.
- If an enquiry leads to an assignment, agreements and invoices are kept as accounting records for as long as the Swedish Bookkeeping Act (1999:1078) requires: until the end of the seventh year after the end of the calendar year in which the financial year ended (article 6(1)(c)).
Your details are never sold and are not used for marketing.
Your name, email address and message are needed to answer you; without them Liovall can't reply. Company, project type and the chosen offer are optional.
Who receives the data
Emails to the liovall.com addresses are received and stored by the email service Liovall uses, which processes them on Liovall's behalf.
Your rights
You can ask for access to your personal data, have it corrected or erased, and ask for the processing to be restricted. You can also receive the data you have given Liovall in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format where the processing is based on article 6(1)(b). Write to hello@liovall.com. You will get an answer within one month; for complex requests the GDPR allows two more months, and you are then told why within the first month.
Right to object
Where the processing is based on Liovall's legitimate interest (article 6(1)(f)), you can object to it at any time on grounds relating to your particular situation. Liovall then stops, unless it can show compelling legitimate grounds that override your interests, rights and freedoms, or needs the data to establish, exercise or defend legal claims (article 21). Write to hello@liovall.com.
Complaints
If you think your personal data is being handled wrongly, you can complain to the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY). IMY's complaint page
